You will
learn: a great assortment of folk steps, cane twirls and
accents that will be very useful for creating your own cane
dances. You will enhance your dance vocabulary and group
synchronization technique. This dance is great as a solo.
Amara
believes in adding cane to the flow of your dance not just
as tricks, but as an extension of your body movements.
Amara’s life long achieved instructional skills will teach
you a choreography that incorporates musicality with classic
cane dance reflective of authentic Saidi and Beledi styles.

Adhering to a 3/6 rhythm, Amara teaches a
combination of dance moves from the Golden Era of
